“Nue”
I started this path back when I was still a student, without fully understanding why the “female” was so important to me. Over the years, I created several works around this theme — many of them didn’t even survive in photographs. The awareness came much later. This became a journey of self-discovery — profound and intimate — a way of getting to know not only myself, but all women; a way of understanding the essence of the feminine.
“Nue” speaks about many things.
At first, it revealed how beautiful and perfect the female body is — how closely it resembles the natural world, echoing the shapes of mountains, rivers, and landscapes. Later, it became about the woman’s strength — her vibrant and powerful presence. Then, it led me to reflect on the woman’s path.
Throughout history, woman has been a central driving force behind culture, stories, and the human experience. She leaves traces — in individual lives, in society, and in the evolution of our world. These traces can be bold and visible, or silent and unseen — yet they are always transformative.
“Nue” is also about the inner and outer boundaries placed on women — how society suppresses them, restricting their ability to grow wings, to rise, and to claim great heights. It is a reminder of both the struggle and the unstoppable potential of the feminine spirit.
